Jazz Chisholm Jr. was kicked out of the Miami Marlins' game against the New York Mets on Saturday for arguing about balls and strikes. He had never been kicked out of a game before.

The event happened in the ninth inning, when the Marlins were behind 3-1 against the Mets. With no outs, Miami had a runner on third base. Edwin Diaz, the closer for the Mets, threw a 100 mph fastball that looked like it was inside to Chisholm, but the umpire called it strike three.

Chisholm argued with home plate umpire Adam Beck, but it didn't help. Burke threw Chisholm out of the game right before it was over. In the end, New York would win 3-2.

The infielder was upset about the game and wrote on Twitter, "Terrible!!!!"After the game, he also clapped back at baseball fans who were making fun of him.

Chisholm told reporters that he was upset that the bat was taken away from him at a time when he thought he could make a big difference.

He told MLB.com, "Everyone knows I can hit a home run." "He throws 100 miles per hour, but everyone knows what I can do against 100, so it's just like taking the bat out of my hands. It's a bummer because I worked hard to get where I am, and I'm sure they did, too.

"But at the end of the day, they don't get punished like I do if they make one bad call that ruins the whole game. Let's say that I could be sent down at the end of the day. You can't tell. I play baseball for a living. My stats are important, especially in a situation like that, where we could tie the game and then Garrett Cooper would get the next hit, putting a runner on base and tying the game. Man, you just can't do that to the game. "That was awful. The 24-year-old has been one of the Marlins' best players.
